I am going to Janneke’s birthday.

It is a Barbie party.

It is exciting.

I have two other parties.

They are Ella’s and Libby’s.

I went to the Aquatic Centre with Dad. I went in all the pools. I love the hot one best.

We went in the sprinkler. It tickles Dad’s head.

I can swim with nothing touching the floor. I can put my head in the water.

I love swimming.

Hannah had a bad knee.

On her way home she met her friend Isla.

“Look at my bad knee,” said Hannah.

“How did you do it?” asked Isla.

“Well,” said Hannah “A vast giant picked me up and it wanted to eat me but I kicked it and it dropped me and that’s how I got my bad knee.”

Tongariro the mighty mountain, loved Pihanga the lady mountain.

Pihanga was sad because Tongariro was her mate and the other mountains were fighting him.

Taranaki glared at Tongariro.

For days the battle went on.

Fiery boulders went everywhere.

Tongariro won the battle.

Taranaki went west.

Tauhara kept looking back at Pihanga and only got to end of Lake Taupo.

When the sun came up the mountains froze where they were rooted to the spot.
