Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns, texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?

Yes.

How?

I looked closely at my sea creature on the IPad.  I copied seaweed off the IPad.

Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your batik?

Yes. The wax kept dripping on my hand. It was hard to control where the wax went.

My New DVD

I got a new DVD. It is Wiggly Christmas. The Wiggles are in it. The Wiggles went to the beach with Father Christmas. The Wiggles went to the pool. Anthony blows a horn. Marie plays a guitar. Greg sings. Geof sleeps. I like the Wiggles especially when Geof sleeps.

I am going to Janneke’s birthday.

It is a Barbie party.

It is exciting.

I have two other parties.

They are Ella’s and Libby’s.

I went to the Aquatic Centre with Dad. I went in all the pools. I love the hot one best.

We went in the sprinkler. It tickles Dad’s head.

I can swim with nothing touching the floor. I can put my head in the water.

I love swimming.

Hannah had a bad knee.

On her way home she met her friend Isla.

“Look at my bad knee,” said Hannah.

“How did you do it?”  asked Isla.

“Well,” said Hannah “A vast giant picked me up and it wanted to eat me but I kicked it and it dropped me and that’s how I got my bad knee.”
